DELTA-8 THC

What is Delta-8-THC (aka D8-THC or D8)?

  • D8-THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a new, cutting edge cannabinoid (derived from Hemp) which produces psychoactive effects and euphoric feelings associated with the typical “high”.

What is Delta-9-THC (aka D9-THC)?

  • D9-THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the original THC and is the active ingredient in the Marijuana plant. This cannabinoid is responsible for the “high” feeling experienced after consuming a marijuana product and is currently federally illegal and illegal in most states.

What is the difference in D8-THC and D9-THC?

  • The main difference between D8-THC and D9-THC is D8-THC is federally legal and legal in 33 states, while D9-THC is federally illegal and illegal in most states. Both D8-THC and D9-THC produce euphoric “high” effects and carry a wide variety of medical and recreational benefits.

Is D8-THC superior to D9-THC?

  • D8-THC is superior to D9-THC because it produces similar benefits and effects of D9-THC, but it is federally legal and legal in 33 states in the United States.

Is D8-THC legal to sell in the USA?

  • Since all of our products contain only D8-THC made from 100% Hemp extract, we are able to legally manufacture, distribute and sell to consumers in the United States. Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, that was ratified and signed into law in December 2018, Cannabis containing less than 0.3% D9-THC is legally classified as Hemp and thus is legal under federal law. THC itself isn’t federally illegal, only specifically D9-THC is.

Will consuming D8-THC result in a failed drug test?

  • Most likely yes. From what we currently understand, D8 is metabolized by the human body in the same way D9 is. If you are worried about passing a drug screen, do not use these products.

What does “Hemp Derived THC” mean?

  • “Hemp Derived THC” means that the THC is entirely produced from Hemp. Under the 2018 Farm Bill, which clarifies that “Hemp” is any cannabis plant containing less than 0.3% D9-THC, Hemp is federally legal under federal law. We do not handle Marijuana or any cannabis plant containing more than 0.3% D9-THC.
